I am so stuck in a situation. I have worked for a guy for almost 2 yrs now. Seems I find great jobs to start then they fade to bull shit. This one started out 20 hrs a week at 12 bucks an hr. I have a hubby that works full time and this gives me time to work around the house also. My job was to do some quoting for him in tools..... keep all transactions in Peachtree.. post accounts payable and process accounts receivable.. hes so stupid he cant keep even his own personal check book up so every day I have to download all bank accounts (Co. and personal ) and give him print outs on whats going on in all his accounts.... he has run his Business by spending income on personal things ...and not paying his payables that landed him in debt of up to 50 grand when all invoices were paid up. Well he has not been getting any business now for 7 mos and the bills are piling up bad irs wants there and everyone is calling but our customers. I have been looking hard for a job for months now. And have had interviews but no luck yet... the past few weeks he has used up all funds before paying me yet I printed the check and as soon as funds were there I cashed it. He has also cut my hrs now down to 10 hrs a week. My check pays one certain bill the car payment and 10 hrs just is not getting it. I called unemployment last week to see what could be done with him bing he gives me a check that is no good. they said I CAN collect for the hrs im not getting. This made him pissed off he asked how I could work for him and still collect unemployment at the same time I said that is what they told me to do by the state law they TOLD me to submit my formes.... he has borrowed 10 grand from american general....15 grand from another lender... and cant make those monthly payments ....now he refinaced his house and got a home equity loan to cover more bills. I WANT OUT OF THIS HOLE ... how do I go about leaving here and keep a good work record. I just want to say I Quit Do this your self
